If units are taken that are common to both Majors then the candidate must complete additional units drawn from the Listed Units of either Major in order to complete the 36 credit points for the Major.
Restricted Majors
The following are restricted combinations of Majors. Candidates can only include ONE of the Majors in their program of study.
Bachelor of Business Majors: Bachelor of Economics Majors: Decision Support Tools for Business OR Applied Econometrics
International Business OR Economic Development
Award of Degree
Candidates who meet the course requirements including one Business major and one Economics major shall be awarded the Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Economics.
Exit Pathways
Candidates who discontinue their studies in the course may be eligible to exit with the Diploma in Business on completion of 48 credit points, of which at least 36 credit points must be from the UNE Business School.
Candidates who discontinue their studies in the course may be eligible to transfer from the Combined Degree Program to either the Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Economics.
