Requirements for the Cello Programme at Claudio Monteverdi Institute of Music Studies

The Claudio Monteverdi Institute of Music Studies offers a comprehensive Cello Programme for prospective students. Our programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful cellists. In order to be accepted into the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of cello playing experience.
• Applicants must demonstrate a strong knowledge of music theory and sight-reading.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency on the cello.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of musicality and expression.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to practice and improvement.
