Requirements for the Cello Programme at Niccolo Piccinni Conservatory

The Niccolo Piccinni Conservatory offers a comprehensive Cello Programme for prospective students. To be accepted into the programme, applicants must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the instrument.

Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience playing the cello, and must be able to demonstrate a mastery of the instrument. This includes being able to play scales, arpeggios, and other technical exercises with ease. Additionally, applicants must be able to sight-read music and have a good understanding of music theory.

Applicants must also submit a recording of their playing, which will be used to assess their level of proficiency. The recording should include a selection of pieces that demonstrate the applicant's technical and musical abilities.
