Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering at National Tsing Hua University is a comprehensive undergraduate program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in chemical engineering principles, process design, and environmental sustainability. The program aims to cultivate talented engineers capable of innovating and solving complex problems in industries such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, materials, and energy. Students will engage in rigorous coursework covering thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, chemical reaction engineering, and process control, combined with practical laboratory sessions and industry internships to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. The curriculum emphasizes the development of multidisciplinary skills, including safety management, sustainability practices, and advanced computational techniques. Graduates of this program will be equipped with the analytical and technical expertise necessary to design, optimize, and operate chemical processes efficiently and safely. Moreover, the program encourages students to participate in research projects and collaborative industry partnerships, fostering innovation and technological advancement. With access to cutting-edge laboratories and expert faculty, students are prepared to pursue careers in academia, industry, or entrepreneurship, contributing to society through sustainable and responsible chemical engineering practices. The program also emphasizes continuous learning and professional development, aligning with the latest industry standards and global trends in chemical engineering. At National Tsing Hua University, we are committed to nurturing future leaders in chemical and process engineering, combining rigorous academics with practical experience to meet the challenges of the modern world.
