You may learn at a personal atmosphere through hands-on experience and from experts with strong links to the health sector, government and community.You will study processes and structures associated with providing services in specialist fields like schooling, education, wellbeing, learning and development, family studies and child security, and learn more about integrity in family and child services.You will undertake expert training placements on your third and second year for which you have to be around five working days each week.Advanced Diploma pathwayThe higher level Diploma pathway is intended for students that have completed an Advanced Diploma in Children's Services, an Advanced degree at Community Sector Management or an Advanced Diploma in Community Services Work and have at least two years industry experience at the early childhood or similar industries. This pathway recognises a student's prior learning and provides a pathway to a Bachelor level qualification.All the classes are completed online and there are two intakes available each year.Students who complete this pathway and are awarded the Bachelor of Child, Youth and Family Practice can be eligible for entrance to the Master of Teaching Main. Upon completion of the Master of Teaching Main, students will soon be eligible for teacher registration in Queensland and will be able to undertake the role of senior leader in child care centers in Australia.Honours can be obtained through an additional year of study.
