Department of Communication Design aims to train individuals who are able to work as expert communication designers in the fields of Internet, TV and other media. In this popular programme, the students will have the opportunity to produce works in creative areas such as photography, video, interactive media design, animation, to design indoor/outdoor events.

Communication Design is considered in two parts: visual and managerial/cultural design of the communication. The curriculum of Communication Design Department gives our students the opportunity of specializing as creative designers, managers or organization designers in cultural industry. The students who decide to specialize in creative practices focus on multimedia and interactive design, the ones who choose the path of managerial/cultural design focus on courses related to business management, organization and planning. In addition to these two paths, departmental electives include courses from cinema, TV, advertising and public relations.

Working Fields

Our graduates who are able to organize a rich portfolio during their 4-year programme, can start working in fields of art, design, cultural production management or can apply for a graduate programme in communication and art. Some positions in the industry that are offered to our graduates are: Design (especially motion, web and multimedia based); animation, creative management (advertising), art direction, cinematography, production, postproduction, planning and organization, managership (artistic and cultural productions).
