This course develops students' project management capabilities while giving them the tools to imagine, design and create events that engage, inspire and influence integrated advertising communication efforts, built to stimulate maximum audience participation. Students gain an extensive comprehension of how to successfully create a world class professional event from initial concept development and financing for integrated advertising, production and delivery. Students will: Apply expert judgement and knowledge from adapting marketing communication concepts, principles and methodologies across diverse social, organisational and cultural contexts; learn strategy and campaign development, social and digital analytics, the basics of graphical design and visual language, multimedia production and stake holder direction; create expert communication and societal work that supports, promotes or critiques a selection of national and worldwide programs or topics; and put on the management skills necessary to operate efficiently, efficiently and invisibly in business and entrepreneurial jobs from the tourism and event management arenas.

Admission to the course relies in an entrance status. A status can be achieved by means of a year 1 2 ATAR, other Australian qualification, job experience, or an overseas qualification.
