This program empowers students to attain an understanding of the fundamentals and methods for communication and media strategy through understanding of a wide assortment of genres inprint, non-print and multimedia, as well as emerging and new media technologies. Students completing the Bachelor of Arts will also be able to follow along with their professional and personal pursuits throughout a wide range of fields, from Applied Psychology, Behavioural Science and Politics and International Relations to Social Justice, Theatre Studies and Theology, allowing students to contribute to the cultural and intellectual life of the wider community. The application is broad and flexible, allowing students to get expertise across a selection of subjects including broadcast journalism, cinema and film studies, digital film production, drama, foreign affairs, online communication, print media investigation, politics and also social networking, publishing, and screenwriting and TV/film production.
