This qualification reflects that the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved with the managing, co-ordinating and/or bringing of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities. At that level, workers have specialised skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management. Workers are usually providing direct aid to individuals or categories of individuals. Workers might also have responsibility for the oversight of other volunteers and workers and/or instance direction; program manipulation or the progression of new business opportunities.Note that the Statutory & Staff kid, childhood & family impairment specialisationmust be achieved in orderto meet the minimum education requirements for child protection and youth justice training at Victoria. Additionally, to meet the minimum education requirements for entrance into child protection practice in Victoria, diploma qualifications must be approved by the Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA)To achieve this qualification, the candidate should have completed at least 100 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Prerequisites of components of competency.No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification conditions apply to the eligibility during that time of book.
