Requirements for Composition Programme at Giuseppe Verdi Milan Conservatory

Are you interested in studying composition at the Giuseppe Verdi Milan Conservatory? We are excited to welcome you to our world-renowned institution!

In order to be accepted into the Composition Programme, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You must have a minimum of two years of music theory and composition studies.
• You must have a minimum of two years of piano studies.
• You must have a minimum of two years of orchestration studies.
• You must have a minimum of two years of music history studies.
• You must have a minimum of two years of music technology studies.
• You must submit a portfolio of your compositions.
• You must submit a letter of recommendation from a music teacher.
• You must pass an audition.
