This method is perfect for those interested in working effectively with people as a counsellor in a variety of aspects of specialisation or within a counselling related livelihood. Students will be given with practical counseling skills too and also a firm comprehension of the societal and ecological contexts that influence on people in the present society. The application provides a comprehensive overview of counseling frameworks and techniques, ethical training and ethnic diversity. It gives entrylevel counseling training with a strong focus on contemporary counselling, psychotherapy and psychology theory, practice and research. The course also includes an expert placement totalling 250 hours, which means that students gain working experience before they graduate. This level is certified by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), the peak body for counselling and psychotherapy in Australia, and gives students the technical skills and theoretical base needed to behave like a counsellor.
