Por qué Criminología y Seguridad en la UJI
- Amplia experiencia en la enseñanza de los estudios en criminología y seguridad, con profesorado que combina los conocimientos teóricos con los prácticos específicos.
- Aulas adaptadas a las distintas metodologías (casos prácticos, seminarios, etc.) y equipadas con las nuevas tecnologías.
- Amplia oferta de prácticas integradas en las que se entra en contacto con empresas, despachos, organismos oficiales, instituciones... donde se aprende y se empieza a conocer el mundo laboral.
Salidas profesionales
Las principales salidas profesionales están relacionadas con cuatro ámbitos laborales. En primer lugar, hay que destacar que es cada día más importante la función que cumplen los criminólogos en la Administración de Justicia. En efecto, su conocimiento científico del hecho criminal permite, no solo auxiliar a los Juzgados de Vigilancia Penitenciaria, sino también diseñar los medios de tratamiento, evaluación y pronóstico del delincuente. Estos conocimientos le permiten, asimismo, prestar un considerable apoyo a las víctimas de un delito. Y, precisamente, la victimología es uno de los campos que mayor proyección ofrece en nuestro país.
En tercer lugar, la formación interdisciplinar que se pretende brindar constituye una buena base para la investigación criminológica que permite diseñar políticas de prevención y evaluar las diferentes políticas de seguridad. El último campo que debe ser destacado es el de la seguridad, tanto pública como privada, ya que no puede desconocerse que el Grado en Criminología y Seguridad es el que mayor afinidad guarda con la labor que desarrollan estos profesionales.
