Crosscultural and Applied Linguistics

The program is intended to boost and encourage a diverse, interdisciplinary way of linguistics. It is designed for those interested in the use of philosophical principles to educational and other professional aspects. Applied linguistics is a fast growing field in its own right. This program is suitable for those considering teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL), 2nd language teaching (SLT), and the teaching of modern languages, specially Korean and Japanese. The latter will be taught jointly with the College of Studies.
