This qualification reflects the use of a dental technician responsible for construction and repair of dentures and other dental appliances such as implants, bridges, partial dentures, pre- procedure and post-oral and tooth whitening apparatus, and surgical appliances.Dental technicians work in dental laboratories by themselves or in groups, under the prescription of dentistsdental prosthetists or dental specialists. No licensing, legislative, and regulatory or certification requirements apply to this qualification at that time of publication.
