Requirements for the Dietetics Programme at The University of Padua

The University of Padua offers a comprehensive Dietetics programme for prospective students. To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • Completion of a minimum of 30 credits in the sciences, including biology, chemistry, and nutrition
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credits in the humanities, including psychology and sociology
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credits in the social sciences, including economics and public health
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credits in the professional field, including food science and food service management
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credits in the elective field, including nutrition education and food safety

In addition to the above requirements, applicants must also submit a personal statement, two letters of recommendation, and official transcripts from all previously attended institutions.
