The Master of Arts in Digital Information Management is a portion of the articulated program designed to create information professionals able to make and manage information which is increasingly in digital formats. Additionally, it examines strategies and practices to the delivery of services for both communities and organisations in the 21st century. The program welcomes students using a deep, theoretically informed understanding of the way information and knowledge are created, represented, communicated and used by both individuals and classes both online and also in the physical world. Additionally, students develop the project and technical management skills necessary to create, build and manage online information tools such as web sites and electronic repositories. Students gain an comprehension of contemporary issues, trends, inventions and forces for change in knowledge clinic; of ethical practice and also the capacity to operate with integrity, rigor, self-reliance and collaboration in professional contexts.
Candidates are eligible to receive professional registration of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) should they have completed the core foundation subjects, plus 57084 Information Architecture and Design as one of their three optional subjects.
- UTS recognised bachelor level, or equivalent or higher qualification, or filed other evidence of general and professional qualifications which demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies. Applicants who have not completed a bachelor's, master's, graduate degree or a graduate certificate in just about any field of study (or overseas equivalent) must provide: a personal statement (approximately 500 words) explaining why they would like to study the program

If applicants do not publish these documents, their application might not be considered. The English proficiency requirement for global students or neighborhood applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
