The Double Bass Programme at the Conservatory of Music Giacomo Puccini is designed to provide students with the highest level of musical training and performance opportunities. Our programme is open to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. In order to be accepted into the Double Bass Programme, students must demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies and a passion for music. We require applicants to have a minimum of two years of prior musical experience, either through private instruction or school-based music programs. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate a basic understanding of music theory and be able to read music notation.

We also require applicants to submit a recorded audition, which should include two contrasting pieces of music. The audition should demonstrate the applicant's technical and musical abilities, as well as their potential for growth. We also encourage applicants to submit a letter of recommendation from a music teacher or mentor.
