Requirements for the Double Bass Programme at Claudio Monteverdi Conservatory

The Claudio Monteverdi Conservatory offers a comprehensive Double Bass programme for prospective students. To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of Grade 8 in Double Bass from a recognized music institution.
• A minimum of Grade 5 in Music Theory from a recognized music institution.
• A minimum of Grade 5 in Piano from a recognized music institution.
• A minimum of Grade 5 in Sight-reading from a recognized music institution.
• A minimum of Grade 5 in Aural from a recognized music institution.
• A minimum of Grade 5 in Harmony from a recognized music institution.
• A minimum of Grade 5 in Improvisation from a recognized music institution.
• A minimum of Grade 5 in Composition from a recognized music institution.
• A minimum of Grade 5 in Music History from a recognized music institution.

Applicants must also submit a portfolio of their work, including recordings of their performances, compositions, and/or improvisations.
