Education — Elementary

The Bachelor of Education (Elementary) degree program prepares students to teach in elementary schools. Graduates obtain their professional teaching certificate from the Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB), which qualifies them to teach in any school setting; public schools, independent schools, First Nations schools, and in some cases, secondary schools. Graduates can also teach in any province or territory in Canada, and in many other countries. Our graduates often teach English in other countries. Our 2012 Bachelor of Education graduates are working in British Columbia, Korea and England, in rural, urban and First Nations communities, and are working in both private and public schools.
