This program is for graduates with a background in educational or teaching management, and many others with a professional interest in education. With adaptive study and subject choices, students may undertake professional development in their area of interest. Specialist areas of study involve administration, leadership and direction; health education; nurse education, language and literacy, teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL), applied linguistics, classroom management and discipline; counselling, organisational change; along with student advocacy and wellbeing. For folks involved in teaching at any level, it really can be a teacher development program. • NB: Meeting minimum requirements will not guarantee an offer of an area. Entry in to most of La Trobe courses relies on competitive selection and there can be limited places available.
