Engineering (Honours)

Students undertake the Bachelor of Engineering Pre-Major Within their first year and on successful Conclusion proceed Within their second year to one of the next Engineering Fields: Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Civil and Construction Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering or Environmental Engineering. Environmental Engineering major will soon be offered by Curtin Sarawak. Students aren't required to choose a subject at the start of degree but has to create this decision prior to or at the completion of the Bachelor of Engineering Pre-Major.

The Bachelor of Engineering has been accorded full recognition by Engineers Australia exempting graduates from all academic requirements for corporate membership. To qualify for corporate membership of Engineers Australia a graduate additionally needs no less than four years approved experience following the award of the Bachelor of Engineering level.
