Engineering - Mechanical (Honours)

This 4-year embedded honours application focuses on technology design, system design, energy systems, fluid mechanics and production technology. This course is intended to qualify students as mechanical engineers to get registration with the body, Engineers Australia, and is provisionally recognised to allow pupils to operate in Australia and overseas. Students complete 12 weeks work experience by professional engineers and technology associates and get to re create real life interactive scenarios in USC's state-of-the art visualisation lab and dedicated technology labs. Students learn from industry professionals using guest lectures which exposes them to current technologies professional training.

Year 12 or equivalent. Requirements: English (Units 4 and 3 ( C), Maths Methods (Units 4 and 3, C). Year 1 2 Specialist Maths, and Physics or Chemistry are recommended.
