Let the Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) foster your passion and develop your skills in forming critical arguments, conducting research, and documenting evidence. This major will encourage you to be analytical and to develop a clear and expressive writing style in a range of modes.
You will examine both the great texts and innovative and contemporary works of poetry, prose, drama, film, new media and critical essays while learning skills in analysis, critical thinking and developing high-level communication skills.
An enjoyment and appreciation of literature will give you the ability to develop this into an interest in books and reading as you move away from your studies and into your life. It will give you the confidence to approach and tackle new forms of books and writing.
