* All process description is combined with applied mathematics and informatics. The graduate will be prepared for the position as modeller and engineer of environmental processes within both national and international institutions. The study programme is taught in cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics Charles University Prague, Czech Technical University Prague, the Institute of Thermomechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Danish Hydraulic Institute (DHI). Strong emphasis is given to research activities and in the preparation of an MSc thesis. Students are well prepared for analyzing the important environmental processes and focus on the application of various techniques for their modelling.
