This program is centered on a defined body of knowledge, of recognized significance to the finance business, also is designed to satisfy the requirements of professional and business associations, particularly the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter. It focuses specifically on the specialisation of equity evaluation and portfolio performance measurement letting the study of this area in greater detail, and is the path having the most comprehensive core program policy of their CFA Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK). It builds on a wide base of study in economics, accounting, management and qualitative techniques.
La Trobe University is recognised by CFA Institute as a University Affiliate for the Master of Fiscal Investigation (Investment). The Master of Fiscal Analysis (Investment) is recognized by CFA Institute as covering in excess of 70% of the Candidate Body of Awareness defined for CFA Program tests, Levels I - III. - An Australian Bachelor's degree in any area or an approved equivalent qualification
- Admission can be awarded to applicants with no undergraduate degree but with five or even more years of relevant work experience
- for generating an offer for an applicant, the faculty can be aware to a range of factors including English proficiency, academic record and occupation experience
- NB: prep minimal prerequisites will not guarantee that an offer of a place. Entry into all La Trobe courses relies on competitive selection and there can be limited places available.
