The Fiscal Economics programme examines the implications of tax law for companies, households and the overall economy. As part of the Fiscal Economics programme's interdisciplinary curriculum, you will take courses in three areas: * business economics * general economics * fiscal and private law You will learn how to deal with aspects of taxation, how to analyse the effects of taxes on the national and international economies and how to apply fiscal and private law to your work. Your studies will enable you to address such questions as: * How should a company react to changes in corporate tax levels? * How would a change in the corpo­rate tax affect a country's competitiveness? * How are taxes used to finance government expenditures? Fiscal Economics is a 3-year programme taught in English and Dutch and only open to students who have a good command of the Dutch language.
