Based upon the specialisation chosen, this qualification provides a path to are an instructor providing exercise education for group, aqua or gym programs. They work independently using some level of autonomy in a controlled environment such as fitness, leisure, aquatic and community centers where risks are handled through pre-existing risk assessment and threat management processes.Individuals who specialise in Aqua Exercise Instruction provide high-intensity training sessions designed for participation by a group of customers. They also have the skills to save a client in distress, and an proper amount of pool fitness and endurance.Individuals who specialise in Group Exercise Instruction deliver exercise sessions intended for participation by a group of customers with a variety of ages/fitness levels. Sessions may be freestyle, pre-choreographed or circuit style. These individuals instruct and establish complete training sessions to groups using limited human interaction. Those who specialise in Fitness Instruction provide individually tailored client evaluations, provide technique correction as needed, and develop and establish programs. Additionally they offer oversight of a service or facility, maintain equipment clean, tidy and well kept, and also handle lots of client inquiries.No occupational licensing, certification or special legislative conditions apply to the qualification at time of book.
