Every year the School of Geography, Archaeology and Environmental Studies hosts around 300 undergraduate students from a range of university faculties. There are three years of study in Geography. The courses are wide-ranging, exciting and relevant to contemporary issues in South Africa and the world.
The Bachelor of Arts in Geography (BA) is a full-time, 3 year degree.

- Applications to Wits must enclose a non-refundable application fee of R100 (for international applicants, R700).
- Submit your Grade 11 report which must be signed and stamped by your school principal.
- If you have already matriculated, attach a copy of your matric certificate.
- A pass in the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a score of at least 7.0.
