Requirements for the Harpsichord Programme at Niccolo Piccinni Conservatory

The Niccolo Piccinni Conservatory offers a comprehensive Harpsichord programme for prospective students. To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of Grade 8 in Harpsichord or equivalent
  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Music Theory or equivalent
  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Piano or equivalent
  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Music History or equivalent
  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Sight-reading or equivalent
  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Aural Training or equivalent

In addition to the above requirements, applicants must also submit a portfolio of their work, including recordings of their performances, and a personal statement outlining their reasons for applying to the programme.
