Health Policy

The Master of Health Policy gives students with the information and skills to comprehend, translate influence and shape health policy. It provides an understanding of how in which the healthcare system operates as well as the challenges it faces. This course offers a deeper understanding of the present issues shaping health policy and also an option for specialisation in four important areas: mathematics; law; communicating and learning; and health and literary. The course also gives you a foundation in statistics, epidemiology and Native studies. This course provides a career path for health professionals, government employees, advisers and other professionals who wish to pursue a career in health policy or reach their preferred role and wish to enhance their expert knowledge and experience. Career options include positions in Commonwealth and state departments of health, community and consumer-based advocacy groups, non-profit and government organisations, local health district solutions, and non-government service providers.

• Applicants should have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or filed other evidence of general and professional credentials that shows possibility to pursue graduate studies. The English competency requirement for international students or community applicants with international credentials is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
