History

History introduces students to major world regions and cultures, to historical periods, and to social, political, cultural and economic themes. History is for students who have a natural curiousity about our human past and how it determines our present and our future. A love of reading and research will help determine success in the study of History, as students will learn critical thinking, research, writing and communication skills. Students of History will develop a deep and discerning approach to our past and a broad knowledge of human experience.
