The 21st century illustrator is likely to be more entrepreneurial, culturally and visually aware, possess strong management capabilities and business acumen, be able to predict and translate trends and operate within shifting surroundings. Consequently, the Bachelor of Illustration attracts scholarship ever, technology, trade, media and cultural studies. The level offers three years of specialised case and design study and can be organised around three strands of learning - Creative Exercise, Creative instruments and abilities, and Media and Context. This program provides students with the flexibility to pursue their newfound tastes, while growing detailed knowledge and understanding of the wider Australian and worldwide illustration scene.

Year 12 VCE or equivalent, with a study score of at least 20 in English. Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study. A Diploma in Visual Arts, an Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design or a Advanced Diploma of Creative Product Design let admission in to Second Year of the Bachelor of Illustration. Academic IELTS 6.0 with no individual band below 5.5,'' Pearson PTE Academic 50 complete with no individual interracial ability below 42, or Melbourne Polytechnic recognized equivalency.
