This qualification reflects the function of workers locally and/or residential setting who follow an individualised intend to present person-centred support to people who may require support as a result of aging, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support in addition to taking responsibility to get outputs.Workers possess a range of factual, theoretical and technical expertise, in addition to some theoretical understanding of their concepts and techniques required to offer person-centred support.To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of these units of competency.No licensing, legislative, and regulatory or certification requirements affect the qualification during book.
