Undergraduate programme in International Relations (UPIR) is a unique opportunity for those who aim for a career at the supranational level. The Undergraduate Programme in International Relations is a 3-year first-cycle degree full-time programme. It consists of six semesters (terms) and over 20 courses plus dissertation seminar aimed at thesis preparation and individual focus. All units are taught in English by experienced American and European academic teachers. The unique format of the Undergraduate Programme in International Relations not only introduces students to the workings within the field of International Relations, but also makes them responsive to interdisciplinary concerns such as law, business, history and culture.

  1. After the exam, the qualified candidates in order to finalize the enrollment procedure need to provide the Institute with the following documents (originals or scans, scans can be submitted via the IRK website or sent to b.zglinski@uw.edu.pl) :
  2. Application for admission (printed from irk.uw.edu.pl and signed, it should consist of  2 pages of which the second one will be the application for issuing the student’s ID);
  3. High School diploma;
  4. Colour photo in JPEG format (uploaded into IRK account – more info athttp://www.uw.edu.pl/en/strony/stud/ELS_ang.pdf). Photos should present the semi-profile with visible left ear of the candidate (En-face photos will not be accepted);
  5. Photocopy of the passport (pages with personal details).
  6. Proof of English language proficiency at B2 level (FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC, CEIBT, IELTS, TOEFL or equivalent certification). Does not apply to candidates graduated from high school or college with English as language of instruction the Admissions Office may take into account other certificates in special circumstances.

The above documentation will allow the University to issue the formal invitation and admission confirmation necessary for obtaining Polish visa (for those who require it) and apply for a place in the students’ hostel.

On arrival to Poland (until October 1) additional documents must be submitted:

  1. (recognized and/or legalized) High school diploma along with a sworn translations into Polish;
  2. Photocopy of the entry visa to Poland or other relevant document confirming the stay in the territory of Poland ;
  3. Health certificate (only for persons with the citizenship other than Polish);
  4. Declaration of payment the program fees;
  5. An additonal a fee of 200 Euro is required as part of the first year tution fee.
  6. All students who will start Undergraduate Programme are obliged till the end of 1st semester to gain recognition in Poland of High school and bachelors diploma (all information will be given for students after arriving to Poland; our Institute will help in this procedures.

Enroll in the course
