International Studies (Double Major Offering)

The University of New Brunswick at Saint John offers a double major in International Studies. This interdisciplinary program permits students to combine studies in Language, Culture, Politics, Economics, History, and Literature and offers a comprehensive introduction to global and regional developments.International Studies gets to the heart of global development, its challenges and opportunities. This interdisciplinary program considers the complex relationship between Canada and aid recipient nations in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. Students will analyze contemporary global issues such as food distribution, gender roles, access to capital and disease control through combined studies in language, culture, politics, economics, history and sociology.The International Studies Program is one half of a double major in the Faculty of Arts.
