Master the skills needed for success in hospitality and tourism with this advanced degree programme designed to prepare you for the operational challenges of these fast-paced, dynamic industries.

You will learn through an array of field trips, workshops, talks from guest speakers and industry-focused practical cases, all designed to provide you with a working knowledge of strategy and analytical thinking.

The course is divided into two semesters and covers a range of topics designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of key industry issues. In the first semester focus is placed on modern tourism, hospitality and event organisation. The second semester is conducted through practical case studies, centering on applying the knowledge gained.

In the first semester, you will investigate the issues and challenges most often encountered in hospitality, event organisation and modern tourism. You will then learn to apply your theoretical knowledge in practical case scenarios.

Graduates will be eligible to work on a broad range of supervisory, managerial and consulting positions in both public and private sector tourism or event organisations, often with a marketing and sales orientation

Event Management graduates can be expected to go on to managerial posts within conference centres, international associations, professional conference organisers, destination management companies, convention bureaux, exhibition organisers etc. Similarly, Tourism Management graduates can go on to positions in destination, hotel, travel or distribution marketing and sales.
