About Us

The London Academy of Trading (LAT) is an award-winning, dual-accredited provider of financial trading education and was the first academy in the UK to offer accredited and regulated qualifications in trading. We pride ourselves on providing practical and vocational training courses, developed to help individuals to invest or trade in financial markets, or for those looking to enhance their employment opportunities within financial markets.

We help our learners apply their knowledge in a real-world, real-time environment, understanding the fundamental and practical aspects of trading. Since our creation in 2010, we have focused on four specific pillars of knowledge to help students improve their skills and understanding: fundamental analysis, technical analysis, trading psychology and risk management.

About the Course:

If you have an active interest in trading and are looking to use your extra time to boost your skills and knowledge, LAT can support you with this.

Gain an introduction to the world of trading with our one week programme, perfect for beginners without any prior knowledge who are hoping to enter the world of financial markets.

LAT will help you progress through your studies, starting off with the fundamentals which will involve you gaining a better understanding of the daily activities of a trader, and you’ll be expected to technically analyse and evaluate macroeconomic data releases.

Whether you plan to trade commodities, stock indices, individual equities, forex or other trade assets, the choice is yours – LAT will educate you on them all and give you an understanding of how they’re related as well as the vital skills needed for trading.

Upon successful course completion, you’ll get an understanding of financial markets, and the knowledge needed to kick-start your career in this sector.

LATs expert faculty comprises experienced traders who worked for major financial institutions including HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America and Bloomberg, and are available 10 hours a day for trading support and guidance.  Lecturing and mentoring duties are shared between the team to ensure that you can receive 1-2-1 support and a enjoy a stimulating and interactive experience throughout the course.
