Requirements for the Jazz Flute Programme at Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Music

Are you interested in studying jazz flute at the Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Music? Our jazz flute programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful jazz flutists. In order to be accepted into the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of two years of flute playing experience
• A minimum of two years of jazz theory and improvisation experience
• A minimum of two years of music theory and ear training experience
• A minimum of two years of ensemble playing experience
• A minimum of two years of music history experience
• A minimum of two years of music composition experience
