Requirements for Jazz Guitar Programme at Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Music

Are you interested in studying jazz guitar at the Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Music? Our jazz guitar programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful jazz guitarists. In order to be accepted into the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of two years of guitar playing experience
• A minimum of two years of music theory and ear training
• A minimum of two years of jazz improvisation
• A minimum of two years of jazz ensemble playing
• A minimum of two years of jazz history
• A minimum of two years of jazz composition
