Requirements for Jazz Piano Programme at Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Music

Are you interested in studying jazz piano at the Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Music? Our jazz piano programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful jazz pianists. To be accepted into the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of two years of piano study, including classical and jazz styles.
• A minimum grade of B in all music theory and ear training courses.
• A minimum grade of C in all jazz improvisation courses.
• A minimum grade of C in all jazz history courses.
• A minimum grade of C in all jazz arranging courses.
• A minimum grade of C in all jazz ensemble courses.
