Requirements for the Jazz Trumpet Programme at Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Music

Are you interested in studying jazz trumpet at the Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Music? Our programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful jazz trumpet player. In order to be accepted into the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of two years of experience playing the trumpet
• A minimum grade of B in music theory and ear training
• A minimum grade of C in jazz improvisation
• A minimum grade of C in jazz history
• A minimum grade of C in jazz arranging
• A minimum grade of C in jazz ensemble
