The UOW Master of Laws (Criminal Exercise ) is the sole Masters-level eligibility of its kind in Australia. This app was created for lawyers employed in (or aspiring to perform in) criminal clinic for a prosecutor or defence attorney. It attracts practitioners from across Australia, New Zealand and PNG. . Students will acquire working knowledge in a supported environment, applying your legal knowledge into case scenarios. Students may also develop their written and oral critical research skills.

Applicants should have a recognised Bachelor of Laws degree (or equivalent) and a Graduate Degree or Certificate in Legal Practice. Applicants with a Bachelor of Laws degree, who do not hold a doctorate Diploma or Certificate in Legal Practice can find entry to the class if they have equivalent professional experience. Equivalent expert experience would be experience that's sufficient to be eligible for admission to legal training or a minimum of one year relevant legal training.
