This qualification reflects the role of humans employed as make-up artists to design and employ make-up for a selection of occasions and purposes all over the wonder, fashion, entertainment and media businesses. These folks have a range of well-developed technical and consultation skills where discretion and judgement is required and are liable to their own outputs. This includes working cooperatively with a range of individuals including musicians, fashion stylists and media production staff. Work is usually conducted as a member of a team or on a freelance basis in settings such as make-up studios, retail cosmetic counters, fashion and media places and photography studios. No occupational licensing, certification or special legislative requirements affect this eligibility during the time of publication.
