The Master of Management of Development focuses on professionals in development organisations, who, upon enrolment, will already be working as mid-level managers. Typically, they will be responsible for human resource development and training, as well as gender mainstreaming.

Within their organisation´s policies and programmes they will also be responsible for incorporating the consequences of AIDS to the livelihood of rural people. Their work experience is an essential input in the courses.

Training in management theories and approaches, communication and leadership, capacity building, self-development and qualitative research takes place in four specialisations.
