Education

The Master in Education focuses on the activity of teaching and the facilitation of bildung as the fundamental professional responsibility of educators. It is a profession-based education and its foundation is a bachelor degree in teacher education, including at least 60 ECTS in the specialization discipline.

The master's programme is a 2-year full-time study. Students in the programme choose a discipline for specialization and in-depth study. The disciplines offered are English Didactics, Mathematics' didactics, and Pedagogies. This choice will determine which discipline will be the focus of the master's dissertation.

An undergraduate/Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent of at least three-years' duration (180 ECTS).60 ECTS in the specialization discipline you are applying for.Minimum average grade C (in Norwegian scale), in the specialization discipline (60 ECTS).Documented proficiency in English language.
