The Master in Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment (ENE) is one of the specialisations within the two-year MSc programme in Economics and Business Administration at NHH. After finishing the programme you will be awarded the title MSc in Economics and Business Administration.
The goal of the programme is to educate the next generation of interdisciplinary managers in the study of energy and natural resource development and environmental impact.
Future development and prosperity is largely dependent upon access to energy sources and secure reliable supplies of natural resources. Exploitation of these resources has an impact on the environment, and the balance between these is becoming a critical factor in the business world where business sustainability is increasingly defined by factors that go beyond a focus on purely short-term profits.
There can be few places better suited to studying matters related to energy, natural resources and the environment than Norway. As a country blessed with tremendous natural assets, Norway has achieved an enviable track record of developing these for economic gain, whilst preserving its environmental capital at the same time.
