Welcome to the Midwifery Programme at the University of Bologna!
The Midwifery Programme at the University of Bologna is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a professional midwife. Our programme is based on the latest research and evidence-based practice, and is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to provide safe and effective care to women and their families during pregnancy, labour, and the postpartum period.
The programme consists of a combination of theoretical and practical courses, including anatomy and physiology, midwifery practice, obstetrics, neonatology, and psychology. Students will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings, such as hospitals, birth centres, and community health centres. Upon completion of the programme, students will be eligible to take the Italian Midwifery Board Examination and become a certified midwife.

Requirements for Midwifery Programme at University of Bologna
The University of Bologna offers a comprehensive midwifery programme for prospective students. To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum grade point average of 3.0
- Proof of English language proficiency
- A valid passport
