Students with the course take a total of 1310 hrs of clinical trials, including the provision of woman-centred attention to 22 women throughout their journey through pregnancy, labor, birth and the post natal period. Students will: use ladies during maternity, labor, birth and early parenting utilizing a primary health framework; engage in WIL placements, including rostered and oncall shifts looking after women in labor and birth; master to donate to the growth of services, research and policies to maternity care today and as a future leader; work on individual, family and community levels to facilitate all women's rights to, and responsibilities at all, active involvement in their maternity care; donate to fresh understandings of midwifery and other work by participating in research activities; and experience many different workplace settings, including arrival centres, regional and rural maternity units, and tertiary hospitals.
- This course has an early closure date to submit applications (October 31 annually ). To apply you'll be asked to: Have completed Year 12 or even a similar degree of study
- Meet normal University requirements for entry into an undergraduate course
- And submit a written reply to the questions within the supplemental application. Applications are determined by both how they meet the entry requirements and just how they believe the issues raised in the supplemental questions. Entry for the program is competitive. Applications will be assessed on the basis of academic merit and also the range of available places.
