Welcome to the Midwifery Programme at the University of Pavia

The Midwifery Programme at the University of Pavia is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful midwife. Our programme is based on the latest research and evidence-based practice, and is designed to meet the needs of both the student and the midwifery profession.

The programme consists of a combination of theoretical and practical courses, including anatomy and physiology, obstetrics, neonatology, and midwifery practice. Students will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, birth centers, and home births.

The programme also provides students with the opportunity to gain experience in research and teaching, as well as the opportunity to participate in international exchange programmes. Upon completion of the programme, students will be eligible to take the Italian Midwifery Board Examination and become a certified midwife.

Requirements for Midwifery Programme at University of Pavia
