Requirements for Music Didactics Programme at State Music Conservatory "Giuseppe Verdi"

The State Music Conservatory "Giuseppe Verdi" offers a Music Didactics programme for prospective students who wish to pursue a career in music education. To be eligible for admission to the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher
• A minimum score of 600 on the SAT or ACT
• A minimum score of 80% on the Music Theory and Aural Skills placement test
• A minimum score of 80% on the Music History and Literature placement test
• A minimum score of 80% on the Piano Proficiency placement test
• A minimum score of 80% on the Music Technology placement test
• A minimum score of 80% on the Music Pedagogy placement test
